 Topic: OLAF - the elefantastic nasal aspirator My little son (he became 4 months last Saturday) is suffering from a cold for 4 weeks. We already have tried the nasal aspirator from NUK and another one, but all rubbish. With the manual aspirators I had to tamper around for half an hour before getting something our of his nose and the patience of my nose is getting less, of course. I was really not sure it I should invest the 40 Euro for an electrical nasal aspirator, but I have to say that it is worth each Euro. This thing is great. You should close the other nostril, which I did not dare to do first (who want to hold babies nose) but if you do so, it immediately works excellenct. A great invention. When our son is ill (which happens, unfortunately, quite often as he goes to Kindergarden), the nasal aspirator is a big help. This gives relief to us parents when cleaning the nose while kids are sleeping. We not only have it used satisfactorily for the time our son was a baby but also now, when he is able to clean his nose on his own. He uses it by himself and the nose is better and softer cleaned than with a tissue, this is an advantage on a cold with a sore nose.
